From its inception, our organisation has stood as a beacon of hope, dedicated to fostering education and empowering the less privileged communities across our nation.
Our mission is anchored in the belief that every child, regardless of their socio-economic background, has the right to quality education. The name IQRA itself, meaning ‘to read’ in Arabic, symbolizes our commitment to literacy, knowledge, and enlightenment. ‘Dwij’, a Sanskrit term meaning ‘twice born’, reflects our aim to provide a second chance to those deprived of basic educational opportunities.
As the founder of IQRA Dwij Foundation, I have been fortunate to witness firsthand the transformative power of education. I firmly believe that education is the key to unlocking the potential of our nation’s youth, breaking the cycle of poverty, and building a more equitable society.
